Grit Sports began as a UST SHS Entrepreneurship project, selling graham balls and rice meals to fund a booth. After senior high, two members continued the venture in college, partnering with teams like FEU Track & Field and the Mapua Cardinals Volleyball team.
Although operations were temporarily paused during the pandemic, the unwavering support and inquiries from clients inspired the revival of Grit Sports.

2024
In the beginning of 2024, Alexis Buan, one of the original founders, and Diego Ilano, both designers and former athletes, set out to rebuild Grit Sports into a thriving design and print studio.
Juggling full-time night shift jobs and multiple side gigs, they invested their time and effort into bringing their vision to life. Their sacrifices proved worthwhile as they witnessed their products transform into more than just jerseys—they became meaningful items that carry the everyday victories and cherished memories of the teams they proudly serve.

As 2024 wraps up, the Grit Sports team reflects with gratitude on the support of their growing family, reliable partner suppliers, and incredible clients who have believed in their vision. With new part-timers joining the team and plans for the brand’s continued growth, Grit Sports is excited to craft jerseys that help teams create lasting core memories.
